Would the doctor want to do an ablation of the growth under my kidney if it wasn't cancer?

Hi!
I was diagnosed with CKD after a kidney biopsy. I have Fibruary Glomernephritis.(Stage 3) In late Feb of this year they noted a growth under my left kidney. They did a Catt Scan last Monday & They feel its renal cellcarcimona & sent me to a Diagnostic Radiologist. He ordered a MRI, blood work, etc & wants to do an ablation. What do you think?
