After developing "legs that felt like stumps and losing balance". An MRI was read that I had some protruding discs and narrowing. Sent to a pain clinic for steroid injections.I also did physical therapy. The injections were a mixed bag of results.Warm compresses helped but still had sharp pains & pressure in back.Still was very wobbly. Sent to a neurologist for an EMG. Said it wasn't diabetic but peripheral neuropathy. Started on gabapentin which did help after a while with nighttime pain.gait is still unsteady but still try to stay active. Recently moved and not able to be as active.I have always ridden horses and have continued to do so. Recently have developed pain in right leg esp when dismounting and pelvic floor. What else can I do? I'm also losing more strength in my arms,even with walking,swimming and trying to ride.I am also taking Alpha lipid acid .
