I lived and travelled throughout Europe for 6 years during which time there were several outbreaks of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. From what I have read and been told, I don't believe I can qualify as a blood donor. What do you think?

And what about those who unknowingly were in areas of outbreaks for an extended time and donated blood?
