We decided to review the 7 skin-care product winners from the Allure's "2018 Reader’s Choice Awards". We used a tool called SkinSAFE which came out of Mayo Clinic. SkinSAFE rates beauty and skin care products based on ingredients and how they react on your skin. Here is how they were rated on SkinSAFE:
1. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (Facial cleanser)
Cetaphil is rated Top Free which means it is hypoallergenic. It is good for cleaning sensitive skin. This product is also fragrance and coconut free.

2. St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub (Facial Scrub)
St. Ives is rated 82%. It is good for getting rid of roughness and dry spots. If you are allergic to fragrance or methylisothiazolinone than this product will not work for you. This product is teen safe.

3. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry Skin (Facial Moisturizer)
Neutrogena is rate Top Free (hypoallergenic). It is gentle on your face and helps with dryness--restoring moisture back into your skin. Product can be used by teenagers and is safe to use around your lips.

4. La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Sunscreen (Facial Sunscreen)
Anthelios facial sunscreen is rated 82%. If you have any sensitivities to Benzalkonium Chrolride or fragrance then this product may not work for you. Otherwise it rates well and is safe for teenagers. It is a light weight formula and it absorbs nicely. Sun protection is great.

5. GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment (Face Mask)
GlamGlow is rated 91% on SkinSAFE. The exfoliating properties of this mask are top-notch. The product does have fragrance but is free of lanolin and parabens. This product is teen safe too.

This product is rated 91% only because it has fragrance. It used to calm and tighten under eye puffiness.
