The end of May I went to the Grand Canyon with my family. All of a sudden, three fingers on my right hand went numb, were white and cold. I did not seek medical help immediately, but went to my doctor the next week. My fingers were still numb. I also went to a neurologist to see if it was.carpel tunnel. I only saw a PA, who ordered a test to see if I had a blood clot. None were found, although I was told that in the ten days since it happed, a clot could have dissipated.The neurologist also did not find nerve damage. I have been given all kinds of heart tests. Nothing has been found. In fact, they got totally off the numbness issue. I was also told that it could have been an insect bite or an infection.
The total numbness has left. However, the tip of my middle finger is still numb and cold. If my hands get cold, those three fingers are very cold and a little numb.
Any thoughts on this? I have given up on docs.
