Since about Monday or so, I’ve noticed a slight tingling sensation when I pee, almost always near the end. It seems to be internal, near the clit area, and even borders between pleasure/painful. It’s definitely not normal. I also sometimes get the urge to go and pee again right after even though it’s only a few drops.
I used to suffer with cystitis when I was younger and would have it for months, but I haven’t had it for years. The cystitis burning feeling didn’t feel like this though.
My boyfriend was pleasuring me manually and orally on Saturday night/Sunday morning and up until last night and I wondered if maybe he had some bacteria on his hands that could be causing this reaction?
I recently came off birth control about three weeks ago, as I’ve been experiencing hair shedding/loss and I think the pill is causing it. I plan to stay off until the end of March and not have sex in the mean time, although my boyfriend and I will probably keep doing hand/oral stuff. That’s the only major difference recently. Could that be somehow causing it?
I’m also getting a strong smell of urine whenever I pee. It smells a bit stale even (sorry for TMI) which is definitely not normal, and is a golden colour almost brown. I normally drink a lot of water, but have fallen into bad habits recently and not drank as much. We also have a water dispenser at my workplace that has alkaline water if that’s anything of importance.
If you have any idea of what’s causing this please let me know as it’s rather worrying :( My boyfriend thinks its most likely a UTI, and that I'll need to get antibiotics. I've never had one before, but I seem to be experiencing all of the symptoms.
