Attention all Weight Watcher users, I wanted to create an online community to start sharing and discussing our use of Weight Watchers(successes, challenges, tricks) . I encourage all to join in, I know I could use your support as I have joined this week.
I am 44 years old, live in Phoenix, and am the VP of Sales here at EmpowHer. I have dieted all my life, went to Weight Watchers for the first time when I was only 8 years old. I had a lap-band put in 4 years ago where I lost 100 lbs but had to have it removed last year. Over the course of this last year I have put back on 50 lbs and I REFUSE to get back to 260!!! I am walking 2 miles every day, eating the right foods but have noticed my portion sizes are OUT OF CONTROL. Therefore I decided to GO BACK to Weight Watchers.
I'm weighted in at a "hefty" 217 on Monday 4.14.08,got my introduction packet and am well on my way. I was horrified to see how large I was making my portion sizes before. I am doing the "Flex Plan" to help me with portion sizes.
I have been on Weight Watchers several times throughout my life so when the front desk women asked me if I had ever used their program I let out a very large sigh and said Yes unfortunately I had.
I cannot stand the meetings so I took my materials and headed for the door. I would prefer to get my support online.
