Rebecca Roberts, RN

Rebecca Roberts has worked closely with the bariatric surgery patients at North Colorado Medical Center since 2001 and has been in her present position of Program Coordinator since 2003.

One of her responsibilities is to ensure continuity of care for patients before, during and after their hospital stay . Long before patients arrive for their surgeries, she has reviewed pre-operative tests and has participated in patients' pre-operative education. She teaches patients how they can help prevent complications after surgery. She also can help patients and family members with any special needs while they are in the hospital.

Roberts received her nursing education in Denver at Front Range Community College, and also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Regis University. She is working towards her Masters in Nursing degree. Her nursing experience includes acute and chronic renal dialysis, intensive care and cardiac care.
