In addition to being a clinical RN for 42 years, I am an independent RN Patient Advocate and have created a national program to educate experienced clinical RNs to become independent RN Patient Advocates (iRNPAs). Our Mission is to empower people in their health care through advocacy, education and guidance through the health care system. We work with people to enable them to become knowledgeable agents in their own health care, to help protect themselves in a health care system that is very fragmented and geared toward disease management (and profit) rather than on healing.
