Dr. Ramesh C. Bansal

Dr. Bansal is a respected cardiologist on staff at San Antonio Community Hospital. He is a specialist in treating valve disease, surgical valve repair/replacement cases, and performing diagnostic echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Dr. Bansal is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases, and the National Board of Echocardiography. He originally received his medical degree in New Dehli, India, where he was one of the top 10 students in the final medical board examinations. He went on to become a fellow at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and a research fellow at the Mayo Clinic.
He is also a Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has won numerous teaching accolades. He has published over 100 papers and abstracts, and is a reviewer for various scientific journals. He also holds memberships in several professional societies.
