The Internet has evolved very quickly and so has web design. We have gone from coding websites by hand to what you see is what you get web editors that simplified it some to content management systems like WordPress, Joomla and custom systems that make for very robust and expandable websites. Some are so easy to implement that a complete novice can use some of them.
You turn on the Television and you see commercials about these website builders and they say things like make it, publish it and get found as if it is that easy and to be frank with you, it is a sham to sell their system that makes them recurring monthly income.
