65 year old Mother of 3 (2 boys one girl), Grandmother of 4(2 boys 2 girls). Married 20 years to a wonderful man, widowed and remarried to another great fellow (married 21 years)...they were/are both CPAs. Developed my own cleaning products (over 20 years ago) that are sold in many markets all over the US. They are used on boats, airplanes, motorcycles, home's, hospitals, museums and much more. My business keeps me busy although now I am unable to do what I use to do because of my health.
We live on a lake in Idaho where I feed deer, birds, flying squirrels and more. Love to kayak although last summer it was harder for me...prolapse hindered ability to paddle well. I am very lucky and love my life with the exception of my health. Fibromyalgia is very hard to deal with and is just now being understood by doctors (and not all are believers). Now I find myself dealing with a prolapse (not diagnosed yet) I am waiting until I am on medicare (this January). I do think that women know what is going on with their bodies and this affliction seems easy enough to self diagnose...maybe I will be proved wrong!
I have found that the Internet has given me the ability to check facts, compete in the business world, learn about others and feel that other people are going through some tough times and still working or trying to live with their illnesses. It helps to know that others are having troubles too...if they can make it so can I.
Thanks for listening and offering your thoughts.
