On January 27, 2011 I was diagnosed with UC at the age of 20. For a month before hand I had been sick as a dog, not able to keep down any food, no energy and I dropped 25 pounds. I'm still learning how to live with it and hope to go into remission soon and cut down the amount of medications I have to take, especially prednisone. One thing I know for certain is that UC will not rule my life, I am determined to live it to the fullest.
