cday

I had severe a fib symptoms for about 1 year before I was diagnosed. My Husband was in the car with me when I had an episode and rushed me to the hospital. I was admitted in with a heart rate of 215 beats per minute. My pulse readings were all over the place and never the same from second to second. I was frightened and diagnosed with a fib. I just went to cardiologist and all I heard from nurses and techs was what was I doing there and I look to young for this. I was thinking the exact same thing. I am about to turn 25 this year and I would have never thought thought that I would be discussing treatments for a heart condition. My family has a history of heart related problems. I always thought if i live a healthy preventative lifestyle that I could avoid any health problems. My cardiologist is starting me on meds but says I will need surgery. I live with my husband 4,000 miles away from my family and friends. I feel confident that everything will be fine, but sometimes its hard to live like a normal young women in my 20s with a fib.
