sometimes your bladder symptoms get better after back surgery or worse. I'm not sure whether to do interstim before or after what do you think?

I have a herniated disc and an anulear tear at the L4, L5-L5 S1 areas and have been to 2 different spine surgeons, one says surgery is not a good option for you and the other is ready to do surgery. The surgery being a disc replacement and spinal fusion.

I want to know from anyone the positives and the negatives of getting interstim implant for bladder control, Asap I have procedure scheduled and I am not sure if it is going to help me.

What have you heard about interstim for bladder control? I have tried everything they ask you to do and this is the last resort.
