I am a type 2 diabetic and have severe Neropathy in my feet that has also started spreading to my hands. I am taking medication for the pain but it is not working that well any more. I won't say it's not working at all because if I don't take it I can't walk. Over the last couple of months it has changed. I can't lay down for more than a couple of hours without the pain becoming intolerable. The skin on my feet feels like it's stretched and about ready to split, they're hard and extremely sensitive to the touch. This just doesn't happen at night, it's any time I lay down. I also have a vitamin B deficiency and was told this can cause neropathy too. I am looking for help in understand what is happening and why all of a sudden has started to happen. Right now I am taking Lyrica and MS Cotin what else can I do? I just turned 60 which isn't that old, but I'm afraid I am going to be in a wheelchair before I turn 61.
