Dr. Nan Wang
Dr. Wang is a cardiothoracic surgeon on staff at San Antonio Community Hospital. He is respected for his work with valve repair and replacement surgeries and mechanical assist devices, among other procedures.
Dr. Wang received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He completed his residencies in Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Wang is a Fellow of the American College of Angiology, the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Wang is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He has been involved with several research projects, some of which included world-renowned heart surgeon Leonard Bailey, MD. He has authored numerous articles for medical journals and publications and holds memberships in several professional societies.
