I am 33. Married with 3 kids. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2008. My mother has it, and pretty sure my grandmother had it. I am on Savella, but it doesn't help much. Doctors where I live don't do much for me. They are in the mode that everyone is a druggie seeking pain meds, and I am so sick of the stigma. I have been on anti-depressants, Lyrica (made me sick), numerous vitamins and sleeping pills. The one that helped me sleep (Ambien) Dr. took me off of. I have been to massage therapy, physical therapy, but due to financial reasons, I could no longer afford to go. I feel like crap all the time, and feel like there's no hope. I work part time and go to school full time. My husband has been disabled for 5yrs. so I have all of that to deal with. When I get off of work, I feel like someone beat the crap out of me. And its the same way when I wake up. I even went out and bought a tempurpedic bed thinking that would help with the "no pressure points" but still wake up hurting so bad I can hardly breathe. Is anyone else as frustrated as I am? LOL. Ok, I"m done ranting. :)
