I was always healthy growing up except for some sinus issues. I developed issues with heavy bleeding and pain during my periods in my later years which was diagnosed as a cyst. I had that removed when I had my first and only child. When he was just starting to walk, I got mono which wiped my immune system out. I also had some other virus at the time of the mono and docs thought I had leukemia at first. Thankfully it wasn't but my body took a slow time getting over it all. I had more bleeding and pain issues and ended up having a partial hysterectomy due to endometriosis. The same year my symptoms of pain returned and I was sent to a cancer doctor cause they couldn't believe endometrios would have come back so fast. After a hysterectomy and removal of more endometrios I have gone through menopause symptoms including hot flashes with nausea, hair loss, mood swings, insomnia, weight gain, night sweats and extreme fatigue. I began having anxiety attacks and depression which were severe for two years. Thankfully I was healed by God of that. When I hit my late thirties I developed knee issues. Then a sore jointed toe and finger led me to orthopedic doctors who after much testing and misdiagnosing found out that not only did I have osteoarthritis but also rheumatoid arthritis. I developed severe carpal tunnel in both wrists and ended up having surgery over a year ago. Now I am being treated for rheumatoid arthritis with methotrexate, folic acid and occassional prednisone or shots of steroids. I have also had issues with my thyroid over the years which doctors diagnosed as infection and have treated with small dose of daily levothyroxine. I take a sleeping pill to help me sleep. I have plantar fasciitis and sciatica also. I have weekly bouts with migraines and sinus symptoms also.
The only surgeries I've had were c-section with ovary and cyst removal, full hysterectomy same year and carpal tunnel surgeries on both wrists. I would like to start eating more healthy and add some exercise for helping my stiff joints. I also want to find something for the hair loss and foot problems.
