I am 51 years old. I had a baby at 15 and a cheating husband who gave me many STD's. By 31 I had to have a hysterectomy due to cervical changes. It took some time for me to accept that I did not have a uterus anymore. It def. cost me a relationship at 33. I am all better now and have loved not having a period all these years. I came to this site today seeking answers to "are paps necessary after your cervix is removed" as well as "why do I smell this odor from my vag if I no longer have a cervix'? I had to join after reading some of the answers. This site seems like a wonderful tool for women. So thank you for starting it. I am looking forward to keeping up with the site. God Bless....
