MTV's Audrina Patridge Pulls Out The Naive Card In Explaining Away Her Nude Photos That Surfaced

The reality-TV star's representative on Wednesday denied rumors that the photographs of Lauren Conrad's scantily clad galpal that showed up online recently were intended for Playboy.

In fact, the pictures were taken nearly five years ago, Patridge's rep, Jennifer Shoucair, told E! News.

"I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model," the now 22-year-old Patridge said in a statement. "I was young and very trusting of others and I didn't know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me."
