I never got cramps when l started in 7th grade but now that l am in my 30s and trying to get pregnant, l am starting to get bad cramps every time. Is this because of trying to go off the pill after being on them since high school? Or could it be another reason like my body is just changing ?

Hello, Anon!
Thank you for posting today!
It might be in part because of going off birth control. But a woman's cycle can change with each decade. Changes (for some women) might be a change in duration and flow, milder cramping or more painful cramping. I would not be too concerned if otherwise, your periods are normal and you feel fine. You can mention it t your GYN or nurse if it eases your mind or if the cramping becomes severe.
