Hello, I actually have few more questions not just one. I am 24 years old. A year ago, all of sudden my right leg started to hurt me, around the knee to the leg. I used some creams and gels to release the pain. I got better within two weeks. After few months, my right leg hurt me again with left leg too and my lower back.. I had difficulty to walk. I went to the doctor, he couldn't figure it out, he took blood test and he saw everything is ok. He just gave a cream to use for my leg, it didn't help much, it took me about a month and half to be fine. After few months, my left leg was too painful and I barely walk all of sudden, day after day I was getting worse to the point if I was lying down I couldn't get up. I went to a physiotherapist, he told me my nerves were weak and my muscles. I asked him if I had sciatica he said yes. I went through different treatments I don't know what they were called but it has something with Electricity and Laser. He didn't ask for X ray or anything. Anyways, I was able to get on my feet and walk little bit again within 2 months and I walked better after another month during that while I was doing exercises he told me to do etc. After a while, I was doing the exercises at home, and my left leg wasnt strong enough again the pain didn't leave me. I went again to the doctor.. took some treatment and massages. I got better. Now a year passed, the pain would come again and again. I wonder.. is it possible to be fully cure from Sciatica? What should I do? I became not social anymore. my friends would like to go out for bowling I can't do that.. shopping, I can do that but if they do it for long I had to go back home I would be too tired. I am not working now because my back would hurt or my leg or both still.
Another question, I feel heat in my spinal column from the middle to lower back or from middle to upper back, is there a way to stop this heat... in my back?
I really hope you can help me with advice or something.

Hello MsSophieLee,
As I mentioned in my previous reply to your questions about sciatica, it is not a medical diagnosis in itself, but a symptom of an underlying medical condition.
Please consider scheduling an appointment with a physician who specializes in spine health.
Your complaints of pain in both legs, difficulty walking and an unusual sensation of heat in your spinal column may indicate a herniated disk.
A herniated disk refers to a problem with one of the rubbery cushions (disks) between the individual bones (vertebrae) that stack up to make your spine.
Most herniated disks occur in your lower back (lumbar spine), although they can also occur in your neck (cervical spine). If your herniated disk is in your lower back, you'll typically feel the most intense pain in your buttocks, thigh and calf. It may also involve part of the foot.
People who have a herniated disk often experience numbness or tingling in the body part served by the affected nerves.
Muscles served by the affected nerves tend to weaken. This may cause you to stumble, or impair your ability to lift or hold items.
A diagnosis is confirmed with either the results of a CT Scan, MRI, or myelogram, which can show pressure on your spinal cord or nerves due to multiple herniated disks or other conditions.

Thank you so much.
My doctor never asked for CT scan, MRI or myelogram, do I have to take CT scan or any of them?
I still feel weak from time to time, I still feel pain most of the day or most of the week. My arms and hands sometimes are weak too but I don't know if it has something to deal with it. The doctor mostly said my nerves were weak and they were affecting badly to my muscles.. He asked me to take care more about my diet focusing on protein and fruit and vegetables. I myself asked him if what I have is Sciatica, he said yes might be. The doctor did a great job, I can walk again Thanks God but the pain is mostly there. The heat too, the weakness.
Thank you again!
