Clinique's new medical-grade products became available today in Arizona. CLINIQUE MEDICAL, designed to optimize the outcome of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, is the product of an alliance between Clinique, a leader in cosmetic skin care, and Allergan, a leader in medical aesthetics, to advance the science of skin care with clinically proven products. The new line, which was specifically designed for patients under a physician's care, will be generally available through physician offices beginning mid to late October.
The products in the CLINIQUE MEDICAL skin care line work together to help improve the skin’s receptivity to select cosmetic procedures—chemical peels, microdermabrasions and laser skin treatments such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). The products aid in the recovery process by encouraging even skin tone, helping to manage post-procedure redness and reducing inflammation. All products in the CLINIQUE MEDICAL regime are allergy tested, 100 percent fragrance free, contain no preservatives and are formulated with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients.
“CLINIQUE MEDICAL’s system is a giant leap in at-home, pre/post procedure skin care. The products work together brilliantly to help speed the skin’s recovery process after select treatments and minimize the skin’s sensitivities traditionally experienced from cosmetic procedures,” said Susan Van Dyke, M.D., board certified dermatologist and founding physician of Van Dyke Laser & Skin in Scottsdale, AZ. “I am always looking for ways to enhance my patients’ treatments and outcomes, and I think this new regime will help them achieve quicker results with milder recovery effects.”
