I've had an on-again, off-again relationship with diet soda my entire life, starting with Tab (there I go, dating myself) and flirting with a lot of others before I settled on diet Coke as my must-have.
I have, several times, quit caffeine entirely, only to go crawling back at some point, sometimes months later, to diet soda. (I don't drink coffee.) Sometimes it's just one a day, othertimes more.
How bad is diet soda for us, really? Am I in denial? Is it sometime I should try to cut out permanently?
