Just wondering if anyone out there has tried the three day face lift??? There is a book by Nicholas Perricone MD.
You can check it out at http://www.perriconemd.com/index.cfm?action=home.day_face_lift
Scroll down to see the actual three day plan.
It mainly consists of wild alaskan salmon (because of the essential fatty acids), consumed three times a day, also eggs, nuts, berries, cantaloupe, greens and lots of water...no caffeine(except green or black tea if necessary). It is supposed to completely rehydrate the skin and tighten the jaw, etc. and it can also lead to weight loss. It is also the prelude to a longer 28 day plan, I believe.
I have to say that I find the foods on the list to be very healthy and I eat LOTS of them most of the time and get compliments on my skin.
I also don't drink coffee, don't eat dairy or meat(except for fish)and LOVE walnuts and berries.
Just one thing about this diet....it seems that one might get VERY sick of salmon and you can't have any smoked salmon as it is high in sodium.
Maybe I'll stick to my modified version of the plan where I include lots of tofu and other fish.
Does anyone think they would try this diet? Or HAS anyone indeed attempted it? Do you believe it can work?
