I get a burning in the left side of my chest and my heart goes very fast or skips and flutters, should I be worried?

My heart will flutter, skip and beat really fast or seem to slow down and beat heavy for no reason but sometimes it burns in that area. Sometimes when I'm exercising I have to slow down when it acts up but it can just as easily act up when I'm laying in bed. My Mom has an aneurysm in her heart and my father had heart disease.
