I probably have about 50 pounds to lose, and I am in menopause. I am exercising at a gym about 5 times a week for at least 30 minutes at a time, and I am working on my food choices. I think I'm ready to try something a little more structured.
Here's my question: I know there are many good weight-loss plans, and that the key is choosing one and sticking with it. But before I do, I just wondered if there are women out there who have lost significant amounts of weight during menopause (when it's tougher to do so) and if so, how they succeeded?
Did you do it on your own, or maybe with a specific book? Did you use a program like Weight Watchers? Or did you go all the way to use one of the prepared-food programs like Jenny Craig or NutriSystem?
Thank you in advance!!
