Hi. I have been a type 1 diabetic for the last 35 years. Get shingles at least twice a year. Very painfull and not good for bloodsugar control. Realise that diabetes are an autoimmune disease, and that might be the reason why I get shingles often. Any other ladies that have diabetes and have trouble with getting shingles regularly?
