Once again, Tylenol maker McNeil PCC Inc. has announced a recall of its products. This time the recall is for 21 lots of over-the-counter medicines which include various kinds of Tylenol like children's Tylenol, Motrin and Benadryl allergy tablets.
Previously McNeil has recalled 60 million products because of an earlier discovery of a suspicious odor in containers holding the products.
"The musty, moldy odor was linked to trace amounts of a chemical called TBA. Today's recall was announced after an internal review found that some package materials used in these lots had been shipped and stored on the same type of wooden pallet tied to the presence of the TBA in the previously recalled lots, according to a news release by McNeil."
