Within the last week I have noticed a pain in my urethra when I urinate. It varies from a strong pain to just a slight tingle in the urethra. Throughout the day I feel the urge to urinate. I recently was tested for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia and they were negative, but I dont have any pain in my abdomen or cloudy urine like a UTI. My question would be can a UTI only effect the urethra? I will be getting my urine tested for a UTI and the before mentioned STD's (just incase anything was missed). In the meantime, I would love an answer to this question because I am highly confused.
