My mother who is 90 has macular degeneration. She becomes frustrated with gadgets very quickly and is concerned about becoming blind. Are there any support groups in the valley. I have not been able to find any.

My daughter, my mom and I live together. We daughter and I have racked our brains to come up with everything we can think of to help mom be able to read. She will try for a while then becomes frustrated and quits. She is 90. I'm sure she is concerned that she is going to be completely blind. Is there a support group that we could attend? I haven't found one. Could we check out the school for the blind? I just don't know where to go from here. She is actually in very good health for 90 other then her eyes and hearing, and we have corrected both of them as much as we can.
