I have been on the two months injection, had like three shots every two months and then i stopped because i want to get pregnant. my periods are back to normal but i am not ovulating

i bought the ovulation kit and have been taking the test but comes negative. right now i have like mild period pains but i am not due for my periods until some time next week. what could cause this? i just want to have a baby now
