My period has been the same for the last 8 years. Always on time and heavy for a couple of days. In the last year, it has started moving back a week early every month and the 3rd day has always been the heaviest. This month...a week early and I am on the 4th day and nothing heavy. Barely anything for that matter. I am so confused! Is this pre/peri-menopause? From what I understand, I think my Mother went through menopause early. Is it hereditary?
