Hi,
I have a history of always having long very heavy periods with very bad,big cramps. I'm I was 16-17 (now 26) I had a heavy period for over a month and a half. I was rushed to the hospital because I passed out. I had lost so much blood they didn't know how I was walking around at that time the dr said I had PCOS. I stayed in the hospital for a while and came out. I lived and dealt with the heavy and pain periods until last sept. From may2010- Sept 2010 I had an non stop very heavy period with massive blood cloting. I was sent to an oygbn and put on depo it worked for the first month after that the bleeding and cramping came back wrose within 3 months I had 3 depo needles. I came off of depo because it wasn't working for me and I had becomevery depressed. The oygbn then put me on Seasonale (march 2011) It's been almost 2 months on seasonale and the same problems are happening again lots of bleeding and spotting but mostly painful cramping. The cramping is so bad that I cannot move and i feel sore from the outside. Everytime I do an ultrasound I have no cysts everything is clear. I'm making an appt to see the oygbn again. But my question is has anyone gone thru this, and what was there outcome? I don't feel like brith control is going to help me. I feel like there is another underline problem. What advice would you give as the next step of act? I'm thinking about a scope or maybe even removing an ovary the one side that hurts the most. I'm lost and I really just want to put an end to this.. Please advise any comments/answers are welcome
