I am a 55 yr. old woman.Have been going to clinic for low-income families. Felt ill,was finally checked for thyroid problems. My TSH was155.00. T4 low. Found to have a nodule that was classified as homogenous. When rehecked it had grown slightly and was classified as heterogenous. A FNA was done, once on my thyroid, and poked only once. Said to be non-malignant. Four years later it has not been rechecked. Have pain in side of my neck. It is not constant, but will hurt bad when it does pain me. Also have these hard little larger than pea size lumps under my arm. The doc who performed the FNA said, if they grow larger come back. Have chronic cough and difficulty getting air when humidily is up at all. There is pain on the base of the windpipe, but do not feel a lump there. SO APPRECIATE YOUR TIME AND HELP! Thankyou! gd
