I recently missed two periods and have been experiencing headaches, bloating, gas, fatigue, and a little nausea off and on since my first missed period. However, every HPT that I've taken has been negative. My cycles are usually about 31-32 days long and are like clockwork. The only other times that I have missed a period are when first starting the pill back in high school and getting pregnant with my now 2-year old daughter. Here are the facts:
~Last menstrual period was Feb. 16, 2011. I had a little spotting on the 13th -15th before my period started, which was odd, but then it ran its usual course. I think that I was really supposed to start on Feb. 14th or 15th.
~My husband and I had unprotected sex Feb. 28th and on March 6th & 8th.
~I was dealing with a bad toothache around the beginning of March and wasn't able to get to a dentist until March 17th, in which I had the tooth extracted.
~I have not been under any unusual amounts of stress, nor has my diet or exercise routine changed.
If I'm not pregnant, what else could possibly be going on? All of this is unusual for me and I'm really starting to worry. I was told that missing two periods is not a big deal, so I've been trying to hold out and see if my cycle resumes this month.
