Hi,
I'm really concerned about my pelvic health. Two years ago I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy to investigate infertility and severe period pains. Since then, I've never been the same with numerous symptoms including severe aneamia nearly a year later due to excessive menstrual bleeding. Prior to this I had always had a light menstrual flow. I also have a lack of sensation to my cervix, which I initially thought would be normal for a while but it still persists and this has interfered with my sex life. I have a bulge over my pubic bone and feel as though my organs are not in the same position as they were before, whenever I press here, I feel like I want to go the loo even if I don't. My weight shot up although now I have managed to overcome this, which took me all this time and is not like me as I normally lose weight quickly. And I've had a constant discharge. Even more distressing, the physiology of my vagina has never returned to how it was prior to this procedure. I've had numerous examinations and have been told I'm OK, but I can feel I'm not.I need some good sound advise, I've unsuccessfully researched these symptoms but it seems not many women experience them after minor surgery. And if they do, they seem to go back to their normality after a little while.
Thanks,
Josey.
