I recently led a meditation, transformation and healing retreat at EarthRise IONS Retreat Center in Sonoma County, Calif. The event drew people from across the country, including medical doctors, acupuncturists, cancer patients, counselors, students of integrative medicine, and those interested in learning more about meditation and healing. The retreat offered an in-depth opportunity to learn and experience my approach for deepening the mind-body connection and facilitating long-lasting regeneration and healing.
The Healing Powers of Heart and Mind
During the retreat, I create an environment where a profound sense of intimacy and safety is felt, enabling each person to go deeply into their own healing process as well as experience deep compassion for the suffering of others. The sense of trust, deep relaxation and hope was foremost, and I was truly touched at how much emotion and healing came through in each individual. The meditation sessions and chance for self reflection gave everyone who participated the opportunity to open their hearts and minds to true healing.
I want to share with you the experience of one of the participants. Retreat attendee, Tana Madrigal says, “This has been the most inspiring healing retreat I have ever attended. On the last day, I felt much more at peace, grounded, and my physical energy was improved. I came to the retreat with a frozen shoulder and came away with almost complete range of motion. The retreat is a reminder of the healing power of the mind -- of the possibility of anything and everything to arise and transform us.
