I was first diagnosed with fibrcystic breasts in 1996 at the age o28 I had a lump and it removed with a syring benign...In September 29th, 2011 iwent in for a routine ammogram that showed calssifications, my MD suggested seeking further treatment...So Iwas seen by the Comprehensive Breast Specialists in Southampton , PA...I had a core biopsy done, which was benign put it showed LCIS...I had a lumpectomy on 12/6/11 which showed benign also....my Dr. said that because I fall into the range of an increased risk of 20% or higher...I might want to think about taking Tamoxifen...So I have an appointment with an Oncologist on 1/10/12...I am doing my best, yes, I am overweight I have lost weight from all of this from 236 lbs to 215lbs..I am trying to eat strictly organic, I walk my dog every day for 20 minutes and just started to get back on the treadmill...I have been married for 19 1/2 Years, a great husband and a great son and a great job...but I just ..do not fee like myself...my Dr. has put me on Xanex...I am just afraid to take Tamoxifin....my father's side has had nothing but strokes that start in their fifty's high blood pressure which I have....I am just really confused
