I got a pap test last week and she said that it came back clear but we need to do more tests because I have a lot of white blood cells (or puss is what she called it) on my results. she said this indicated an infection. I went in today and she wants to test for Trich, she says it is really hard to test for this. I am wondering if there is any other reason besides STD's that I would have a high amount of these white blood cells? I am married and surprised if my husband had brought home a disease. I know it happens but just shocked. Also is there any way I could have had this before I was with my husband and my symptoms are showing up now? BTW I do have symptoms that started in spring :( ps also negative for bacterial vaginosis. Which is what I originally thought I had.
