Summary
I've talked about how women can build up their confidence quickly after a divorce so they can put their life back on track straight away.
Building up your confidence after a divorce isn't always easy and lots of women struggle with it, but if you're smart you can get back on your feet a lot quicker. Take a look at some of these things we're going to discuss today because if you follow them you should be able to get your life back on track effortlessly and you can start your life afresh.
List some positive things
Nobody should let themselves be defined by their marriage. It was obviously a big part of your life, but you have a lot more things going for you even if you don't realize it. The only way you'll discover what you truly have is by getting out a pen and paper to write down everything you're grateful for. Straight away you'll realize you have more going for you than you think and it will pick you right up. Do this on a constant basis whenever you feel yourself getting a little upset by something.
Focus on something positive
Not only will focusing on something positive improve your life, but by the time you have your confidence back your life will be a lot further forward. A good example of this is pouring more time into your career since you don't have anyone else to worry about. You could progress through the ranks much quicker now that your ex won't need his fair share of attention. If you're a mother it might be different and you could focus all your energy onto your children.
Don't use a crutch
There are lots of ways you can use a crutch to get over a breakup and some are more dangerous than others. If you go out and find yourself a rebound guy you won't get hurt, but you can't say the same about his feelings. The biggest crutches are obviously things like alcohol and drugs, which might make you feel good in the short term but it will take you even longer to get your confidence back. If you're sensible you won't get into any of this stuff as soon as you leave your partner.
Let it all out
You can't build up your confidence if you're still carrying demons around with you inside your head, so you will have to let them all out. One of the easiest ways to do this is by talking to someone you trust because once you've let everything out you'll feel free from it. You can even take a walk into the middle of the woods and start screaming at the top of your lungs, but once you get rid of all that rage and sadness built up inside you it's much easier to move onto the next stage of your life.
Try to feel sexy again
If you're feeling horrible after a breakup there is a good chance a part of the reason you have low confidence is because you don't feel sexy any more. Now is a great time to start going to the gym or starting to play more sports. You'll feel good because you're moving around more, but you will also build up your confidence by building a sexier body. After your hard sessions you can chill out in a hot tub if your gym has one and you'll walk out of the gym with a skip in your step.
Don't fall down the hole
If you fall deeper into the hole it's going to be much harder to climb back out, so by taking the things we've spoken about today and putting them into action you can start your ascend right now. Leave it too late and you're going to make things much more difficult for yourself.
