I have used estradot patches since hysterectomy 4 years ago. I am coming up to age 53 soon. The patches did nothing for my vaginal health resulting in constant infections after sex and the patches were sticky, kept coming off and embarrassing. So a couple of months ago I started taking the low dose contraceptive microgynon 20ED every day. My vaginal health is excellent now except for the different ofour it always has through a lack of balanced hormonexs and this is far easier to do (take a pill a day). But this is so taboo...any advice? I do feel anxiety on this pill still as my hormones are obviously very unbalanced ie testosterone etc. I cannot aford to see a hormone doctor for some time so I an doing this for now.
