I had a hysterectomy over 10 years ago due to endometriosis. The dr took EVERYTHING. Initially we waited a few months before starting any kind of HRT for fear of causing the endo to flare. I ended up with sever hot flashes and was put on HRT for a few months then weaned off. My gyno is no longer practicing and I haven't seen another one in almost 3 years. My question is, should I have my hormone levels checked? I am having occasional hot flashes (nothing severe) but can't seem to lose weight no matter what I do and have no energy (I have seasonal depression and it;s winter here so that may be part of the issue however I am on meds for it. Thoughts?
