Last Saturday night, I had sex for the first time (ever) with my boyfriend. We've been dating for about a year and a half. In all honesty it was an experiment - he knew that I was a virgin, and he said that if I wanted, we could try it just to see how I feel about it, and to help calm my nerves. I gave him a blowjob before (we've done oral sex before for both parties and I'm comfortable with that) and then when we had sex, he used a condom. Neither of us came, however I was pretty wet down there so there was no friction (sorry if that's too much info, haha). it was very quick, only a few minutes. the condom didn't split or burst, and to show me afterwards that it was still intact, he blew it up like a balloon, and air didn't seep out of it. So i think it's safe to say that the condom was intact.
I've been on the pill (Gynera brand) for about the last 4 to 5 months, and I've taken it faithfully every day. However I'm getting near the end of my pack for this month (it should finish this Saturday the 16th) and I normally get my period the Tuesday after the pack is done, therefore it should come Tuesday the 19th. Am I at risk of pregnancy from what we did? Should I let my period come, or should I go straight into using another pack? If I go straight into using the other pack, would that lessen my chances of pregnancy? I've never used two packs back to back before in all honesty.
I was thinking of letting my period come next Tuesday for my own peace of mind (because I'm verrrry paranoid about getting pregnant haha) but I'm going on a family cruise next week and it feels like it'll be an inconvenience to have my period then. What should I do? Thank you
