The first time I used LiveHealth Online was when one of my two-year-old twin daughters fell sick with a fever and a bad rash. I chose to use LiveHealth Online because I had my other children with me and didn’t want to pack them all up, take them to the doctor’s office, and risk them getting sick as well. The process was super easy and quick.
When the screen popped up of the available doctors, I could see all their photos and bios, and I picked which one I wanted to see. I waited maybe two minutes before the doctor popped up on the screen. She was able to see my daughter’s rash and prescribed something that would help, sending the prescription to my local pharmacy.
And if all of that wasn’t great enough, that same day I received an email from the doctor recapping everything that we discussed in the video chat appointment. I can’t express enough how much I love it!

Beside the convenience, the cost was a positive. Recently my insurance changed, and seeing the pediatrician for this type of visit would cost me upwards of $150 out of pocket. With LiveHealth Online, I only paid $49 for the visit.

Absolutely! I share my experience with people all the time, whether they’re fellow moms or friends of family. People are so used to going to the doctor’s office because that’s what they’ve done their whole lives when they get sick. It’s great that there is a new option.
