When is the best time for people to get their annual flu shot and that also goes for babies as well

I mean is it better to get at the start/start to mid/mid/mid to end/end of the season.

I for one have always wonder about it. This past one got at the start of it because it highly recommended to get. Basically, was told that it started to go around and I figured better get right there and then. In the past always gotten them in start to mid/mid because thats when I always received the letter regarding the free one from the place where I volunteered. At the same time that also goes for my parents as well, at least in the past.
