I began to struggle with adult AD after I went through menopause. Perhaps I always had it but had the energy to cover all the bases and cover it up. I've always been a great multi-tasker but things started to fall apart. At 60 years old I finally asked my Dr. for something to help me focus and I was put on Strattera. It helped immediately and I was back to my younger self, able to handle the big holiday entertaining, etc that I had begun to fumble. A wonderful side effect was an increase in sexual climax strength! After 57 years old my climax had become "short and light" compared to the full, wonderful fullfillment of my younger years. (When I complained to my Dr. he answered "that's aging for you") Within weeks of the Strattera the climax I had known returned. Life was good.
After retirement at 70 I thought, "I'm not handling so much now(job + home/entertaining) perhaps I'll go off the Strattera and save some money since my insurance didn't pay for it." Within two weeks I was back to the faint/light/hard to achieve climax. I stayed off Strattera for 3 months, same results ......then went running back! My climax is once again easier to achieve and strong. Life is good!
I shared this side effect with my Dr. and he said it was all in my head. Ladies, I assure you it's not ALL IN MY HEAD! And, it's very wonderful!!!!! Hope this brings fullfillment to others!
