I don't like the idea of this at all.

It places too much responsibility on teachers who may only have CPR on their health resumes. Using needles or pin-prick tests and assessing the results are jobs for nurses. The risks are that the teacher could unintentionally make a mistake and hurt a child. Not to mention lawsuits. It's unfair on both teacher and child as well as the rest of the class who have to sit and wait for medical procedures to be completed by their teachers.

But I guess we are spending our tax dollars in other places at the moment so it's shamefully not a priority.
