Wow so many stories on here, was great hearing everyone elses stories.
I had one of my ovaries removed when I was 13 due to a cyst which had twisted and they couldn't save my ovary. 10yrs later and I have so many more questions.
What are the long term effects? Will I go into menopause earlier? Are my hormone levels different and are they going to change differently as i get older? Do I have a decreased chance of conceiving a child because it has been gone for so long?
I take the pill and I still have my period regularly so presumably everything is still ok for the moment anyway.
